Flowers for Clara by Bonnie Blue Quilts.  Quilt is approx 80" x80".  This quilt patterns was inspired by Clara Barton whose gift for nursing became apparent at the age of 11 when for 2 years she nursed her brother David through a serious illness.  After becoming a school teacher and established New Jersey's first free public school.  She was also known as " Angel of the Battlefield" due to her tireless efforts during the Civil War.  After the Civil War, Clara Barton helped organize first hand the American Red Cross where she served as president for twenty-two years.

This is a Civil War inspired quilt.  This quilt will require 32 different dark fat quarters and 1 package of 2" finished Spinning Stars half- square triangle papers.
